The average combined bed capacity utilization of Villa Hotels' Resorts in the last five years has been at 81.1%, which is much higher than Maldives' industry average of 72%.

Chairman and Major Share Holder: Mr. Qasim Ibrahim, after serving in Government and private organizations, he set up his own business primarily for trading activities under the trademark QIM initially since 1977 which later became VSTC. Nevertheless, ever since inception in 1986, VSTC has been growing rapidly with diversification and expansion; the growth has been conspicuously phenomenal during last 5~6 years.

Today, The Villa Group of Companies is one of the most progressive and well-diversified business entities in Maldives, covering major sectors like, Tourism, Fishing, Energy, Transportation and IT.
